About My Practice

My Clinical Approach

My practice is grounded in thoughtful, relationship-based care for children and families navigating social communication differences and neurodivergence. I take time to understand each child as a whole person, their strengths, learning style, and lived experiences, so that support feels attuned and meaningful.

I specialize in social cognition, pragmatic language, and real-world communication, helping children better understand themselves, others, and the social world in ways that feel affirming and developmentally appropriate. Rather than focusing only on surface-level social skills, I work to strengthen the underlying thinking, emotional regulation, and self-understanding that support lasting growth.

Training & Professional Background

I’ve worked with children, adolescents and adults across the lifespan in private practice, schools, and in-patient settings. I completed my clinical training in speech-language pathology at UCSF and Social Thinking® - Stevens Creek. Additionally, I am a Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) trained clinician who is educated in gestalt language processing and delayed echolalia. Having experienced selective mutism myself growing up, I have empathy and passion for helping my clients who are struggling with communication.

Prior to becoming a speech-language pathologist, I worked in corporate communications in New York City. After working at the NYU Child Study Center's intensive treatment program for children with selective mutism, I knew this was the field for me. I received my Master’s Degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Oregon and my undergraduate degree from Indiana University at Bloomington.

In addition to my private practice, I am the co-founder of Social Learners SF, a practice serving clients with social learning challenges in San Francisco.
