I’ve worked with children, adolescents and adults across the lifespan in private practice, schools, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers. I completed my clinical training in speech-language pathology at UCSF and Social Thinking® - Stevens Creek. Having experienced selective mutism myself growing up, I have empathy and passion for helping my clients who are struggling with communication.
Prior to becoming a speech-language pathologist, I worked in corporate communications in New York City. After working at the NYU Child Study Center's intensive treatment program for children with SM, I knew this was the field for me. I received my Master’s Degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Oregon and my undergraduate degree from Indiana University at Bloomington.
In addition to my private practice, I am the co-founder of Social Learners SF, a practice serving clients with social learning challenges in San Francisco. I also see clients as part of Juniper Psychology Group, a child psychology practice in Campbell, CA.
